What, how, with what?
Do we offer catering?
Due to the non-standard working hours of the both of Us – we are never able to estimate when we will leave and for how long – we do not offer catering for our guests. The cottage is fully equipped with household appliances – refrigerator, freezer, oven, washing machine, dishwasher.
Is it possible to come to Us only by car?
Our habitat is located outside the village, which entails the lack of public transportation. However, we will gladly pick up Our guests from the train station in Swidwin, Drawsko Pomorskie or Lobez. If you decide to come in this way, we recommend bringing a bicycle (we can take bikes on the rack, or pick up luggage from the station). We are out of the way, so even to the store we have a few kilometers.
Can you come with pets?
Of course – we love pets, here is some information for furry owners.
- Our habitat area is not fenced – so dogs are either ultra disciplined or on ropes. We also have a cat, and there are 2 feral cats in the area that spend winter in our barn, so dogs should be tame with cats – they MUST NOT hunt them.
- The owner is financially and legally responsible for any damage caused by the animal (dog, cat, chinchilla, rabbit and any other animal) – both in the house (chewed furniture, ragged pillows, traces of feces or urine), and in the farmyard (dug up beds or flower beds).
- We ask that dog owners have proof of current vaccination for rabies.
- In the farmyard we clean up the excrement of dogs.
Do we welcome families with children? And are there any age restrictions?
You are welcome with your kids, and we have no age restrictions either. However, we ask that parents keep in mind that the main bedroom in the cottage is on the first floor. The first floor is an open mezzanine – secured by a railing, so there are stairs in the cottage, quite steep. There are no other buildings in the area, nor children – playmates, and we do not have a playground or other accessories. You may consider Us not present, but we believe that children here have a wonderful environment for communing with nature and they do not need more. We remind parents that they bear full legal and financial responsibility for any damage caused by their children. Both inside the cottage and in the farmyard – broken windows, damaged crops, damaged electronics, household appliances, furniture, walls, floors.At a distance of several meters from the cottage is a small lake, so we urge children not to go unattended towards it – the shore is wet and the bottom is very muddy.
How far is it to the nearest store?
The store in the center of the village is 5km from the habitat, you can buy basic products there. To the nearest Dino market in Brzeżno is 11km, take road 162 in the direction of Swidwin.
How far is it to the nearest gas station?
The nearest and 24-hour gas station is in Zaransko, about 15km along road 162 in the direction of Drawsko Pomorskie.
Where is the nearest hospital with an ED department?
The nearest hospital with a Hospital Emergency Department is in Drawsko Pomorskie, B. Chrobrego Street, no.4 – it is 22km from the habitat to the hospital.
